Implementing the SimplEPOS application has enabled
Down Under Leisure to move away
from their previous stand alone cash
till system. Not only has this enabled staff to process
sales more
accurately (all prices are held in the SimplEPOS till, but it also
provides valuable
feedback to identify turnover of goods to
improve stock levels and minimise the tie up of
capital in
slow moving items.
Additional
advantages can now be realised from identifying customer patterns, and
in particular
repeat customers. This includes
improvements to stock forecasting. It also results in greater
sales from more refined targeted mail shots on the release of selected
products.
Down Under Leisure
operate nationally through a well subscribed web based catalogue and
locally through stores in the North of
England in Lancashire and Cumbria. The adoption of the
new Epos
system is seen as essential in providing business tools that will
